Seit August 2011 vertritt der Karrierediplomat den Staat Israel als Botschafter bei der Europäischen Union und der NATO in Brüssel. Zuvor war er stellvertretender Generaldirektor und Leiter der Abteilung Naher Osten und Friedensprozess im Außenministerium in Jerusalem.
